About the SDK

With a so-called Suspension Distance Kit (SDK), spacer rings are fitted to the suspension. On the front axle, spacer rings are mounted beneath the suspension's strut mounts. On the rear axle, either spacer blocks are used to achieve the lift or extended shock absorbers are employed to realise the lift. *

The key benefit is the gain in real ground clearance and the option to fit larger tyres. As a rule, you do not gain any additional suspension travel. delta4x4 components are designed so that the changes to the suspension geometry result in the lowest possible wear on drivetrain components. For this reason, extreme lifts are not possible with this method.
