Sprinter from 2018 Air Suspension 40mm Lift SDK
With a so-called Suspension Distance Kit (SDK), spacer rings are installed in the suspension. On the front axle, spacer rings are installed underneath the suspension strut mounts. On the rear axle, either spacer blocks are used for the lift or extended shock absorbers are used to achieve the lift. *
The main advantage is the gain in actual ground clearance and the possibility of fitting larger tires. As a rule, this does not provide additional suspension travel. Our components are designed so that the changes to the suspension geometry result in the lowest possible wear on drivetrain components. Therefore, extreme lifts are not possible with this method.
