About the SDK

With a so-called Suspension-Distance-Kit (SDK), spacer rings are installed on the suspension. On the front axle, spacer rings are installed underneath the suspension strut mounts. On the rear axle, either spacer blocks are used for the lift or extended shock absorbers are used to achieve the lift. *

The main advantage is the increase in actual ground clearance and the possibility of fitting larger tyres. As a rule, this does not provide more suspension travel. delta4x4 components are designed so that changes to the suspension geometry result in the lowest possible wear on drivetrain components. Therefore, extreme lifts are not possible with this method.
