The AT tyre, classified in the C2 category ("light commercial vehicle"), fits precisely into the segment between a traditional Mud-Terrain and an All-Terrain tyre. The tread blocks extending deep down into the tyre shoulder provide excellent grip, especially on loose, sandy and muddy surfaces. The additional side profile provides protection against damage, for example from sharp-edged (kerb) stones. The tread of the Loder AT #1 is styled like an All-Terrain tyre – with relatively small tread blocks that ensure balanced driving characteristics and low rolling noise on the road. Additional sipes in the tread blocks also provide grip in rain and snow.
However, the tyre does not only impress with its striking appearance. Rather, it is its inner qualities that make the tyre the first choice for camper vans. The tyre offers a very high load capacity of 1,320 kg per tyre while being approved for speeds of up to 190 km/h. Few can match that.
