For more than three decades, delta4x4 has been the specialist for body lift kits (BLK) in Europe. A body lift is a lift in which the body is detached from the vehicle's load-bearing ladder frame and the chassis is raised using spacer blocks. The steering column, filler neck, brake and fuel lines and other components are extended as required. Depending on the vehicle model, it may also be necessary to reposition the bumpers. All vehicle-specific parts for the lift are included in the kits. 

With this lifting method, the vehicle's complete axle geometry is retained, unlike with a suspension distance kit. The operating angles of the driveshafts, propshafts and axle components remain unchanged.

The key advantage of a BLK is the ability to fit larger tyres. Larger tyres in turn allow a greater wading depth and larger approach and departure angles, thereby improving off-road capability. No increased wear occurs on the drivetrain. Nor is there any change in the noise generated by tighter operating angles at the driveshafts.
